The Skin Restoration Center originated over a decade ago to serve the needs of local people who are seeking aesthetic services. The driving concept was that aesthetic treatment providers should be qualified individuals who are well trained, and will, above all put the patient’s needs first.
For several years, skills and training focused on the face and the center became well known as the best place for laser and injectable skin restoration. The practice fortunate to receive the “Best Skin Care Clinic” award four consecutive years and the “Peoples Choice Award” three consecutive years.
In recent years, things have changed in our community. More and more small Botox shops are cropping up in Beauty Salons and strip malls, making Botox accessible for those who feel comfortable in a less clinical environment. At Skin Restoration Center, we experienced change also. We expanded our services to offer body contouring and other treatments such as IV therapy, and medically managed weight loss. We became more aware of the need to help people be their best from the inside out.
The Skin Restoration Center has ben a resource to many in our community. In addition to the extensive hours the staff spend in training, the center has provided laser internships for five technicians and has donated extensive hours to mentoring Nurse Practitioner students. Additionally time and financial support has been given to the Boys and Girls club, we collected food for the Yavapai county food bank and volunteered at the first covid vaccine clinics.
A number of people have suggested that our facility should be renamed to reflect our expanded services. For example the name “Prescott Skin and Body” might better describe what we do. However, the best idea of all came from a patient of ours. She walked in one day and said; “I love coming here, there is always something new and everyone is so nice; Its like coming to Candyland.”
