About IPL (Intense Pulse Light) and BBL (Broad Band Light); What is the difference? 657abfa42025b.jpeg

Lately, a lot of people have been asking me about the difference between IL and BBL. First of all, both of these treatments are called photo facial because they use noninvasive light rays to rejuvenate skin. They can both be applied to any area of the body. IPL uses a range of rays to target and treat melanin or sunspots and rosacea or reddness in the skin.

BBL uses high intensity heat and light to treat spots, redness, veins, and stimulates collagen production. The BBL has special cooling features on its hand piece that make the treatment more comfortable for the patient. There is another thing that BBL has been found to do which is really amazing. Regular use of the BBL has been found to alter gene expression such that skin cells more closely resemble young skin. This was discovered by Dr Patrick Bitter. the physician who developed the protocol which we call the “Forever Young BBL.” If you look around on the internet, BBL is often called “an IPL on steroids”.
